In 1994-2007, Dr. Danny Theresa headed the military body that was responsible for strategic and spatial planning in the Central Command and the Judea and Samaria Division.
Acquired unique and in-depth spatial knowledge in the field of Judea and Samaria, Jerusalem and the seam area, established and guided the military body for computerized geography (GIS) applications in the field of borders and political agreements.
Advised Prime Ministers Peres, Netanyahu, Barak, Sharon and Olmert, defense ministers, chiefs of staff and generals.
Participated in the negotiating teams with the Palestinians and was responsible for labeling the maps in the Israeli proposals and in the political agreements with the Palestinians.
Participated in strategic thinking teams in the Peace Administration in the Prime Minister’s Office, in the National Security Council, in the headquarters for the war on terror, in the IDF Planning Division, in coordinating government operations in the territories and more.
He represented the IDF in discussions in Knesset committees and in various government bodies – including before the US National Security Adviser, Condoleezza Rice, and Secretary of State Colin Powell.
Between 2002 and 2007, he led the planning of the “Security Fence”, which was a key element in stopping the wave of Palestinian terror that plagued Israel from 2000 to 2006 (the second intifada). He was responsible for: .
